“This is the thing: When you hit 28 or 30, everything begins to divide. You can see very clearly two kinds of people. On one side, people who have used their 20s to learn and grow, to find … themselves and their dreams, people who know what works and what doesn’t, who have pushed through to become…

Pictures are great, but Videos are even better. Anytime we introduce new features to the Summify experience, expect to see a blockbuster demo posted in living color. Although we learn fast, it may take us some time to release them in 3D - bear with us ;)

Short logic: Groupon IPO: Pass on this deal →
shortlogic:
Groupon has filed its S-1 and hopes to raise $750M in its initial public offering. Given they’re currently losing a staggering $117M per quarter, despite revenues of $644M, they’ll be burning through that cash almost as soon as it hits their account.
At the moment, it’s costing them $1.43 to…

Summify in the Romanian Press
After our San Francisco November trip, we went back to Romania, where we were luck enough to be approached by the Romanian press and we got to to talk our story and about Summify!
Here’s an article from Forbes Romania, where we talk about Summify, life in Vancouver and the differences between building a dot-com versus a dot-ro:
Next, we got featured on Pro TV, with the headline...

Vegetarian in Vancouver
Like I promised in my previous post, for the whole month of February I ate only vegetarian (meat-free) food every day. It was a very interesting 30 days trial for me, so I want to share my experience.
Why veggie?
I’ve wanted to try vegetarian food for quite some time, mainly out of curiosity. My girlfriend and a bunch of other people I know are vegetarian, so I always wondered what...

A New Life
It has been 2 weeks since we arrived in Vancouver and I must say, these have been some really intense couple of weeks - in a good way!
This comes after the very nerve-wrecking period before departing to Canada when there was so much stuff to do:
Pass 4 exams in my Masters Degree in Distributed Systems at University of Bucharest
Get a Canada visa, plane ticket, medical insurance, etc.
Find a...

So, what happened in 2009?
It seems that at the end of every year people sit down and think about what they’ve accomplished that year. All this fuss got me thinking about my own personal accomplishments in 2009, so I’m going to kick-start 2010 with a blog post on this topic:

Prospective client: $400 for a logo?! Why are you so expensive? My nephew has Photoshop—I can just get him to do it.
Me: Does your nephew have Microsoft Word?
Prospective client: Yes.
Me: Then have him write you a novel while he’s at it.

This site is dedicated to the thought that something as simple as fun is the easiest way to change people’s behaviour for the better. Be it for yourself, for the environment, or for something entirely different, the only thing that matters is that it’s change for the better.
